| A powerful image because often we place ourselves at the hands of fate where many endeavors invite our participation...Ah...only when we get there and do it and then realize that we knew about the possible dangers, but now, like in this image, the participant in "in the eye of the experience". An outstanding capture and a very good entry for this challenge. Congratulations on your top 20 finish. |

| I'm a sucker for a white water shot. Nice capture of the facial expression. Judging by the clothing, that water was mighty cold. |

| Great action shot, but there is some posterization artifacts probably from an aggressive use of the shadow/highlight filter. When your subject is in a very bright environment like white water or snow or a beach, your camera will expose for the highlights, so you have to dial in at least a +1 or +1.5EV exposure compensation to expose the shot correctly. |
