Flowers out in the yard within reach of the wheelchair. Not the best photo. But the weekend is nearly here and I should be a ble to persuade my DH to get me out of the house and stock up on some bw shots.

I think this is lovely - I really like how there is a flower chopped off on the left hand side, I think that's a nice touch.

I love the 3D feel of the central flower and the sharpness of it

Might have prefered a slightly deeper dof to bring out the flower on the right more

Great composition with the flowers running along a rule of third line

I love these little flowers. I think they are called snowdrops but I am not positive.

Magical image that really looks good in black and white.
I like the sharpness and focus of the two white flowers and the DOF is just right.

Flowers do make for nice, stark bw photos. Nice shot.

beautiful .. and those flowers work so well in black & white .. interesting composition coz i'd have been more inclined to shoot as diagonal, but this works so well .. amazing and excellent contrasts .. and you are getting some excellent b&w's despite not being able to get around so well ... :)

Wonderful contrast! I actually like the cut-off flower and the one in the background, they give it a more natural feel. Very well done! Have a fun time this weekend stocking up on BW!

I just love the way these beautiful white flowers pop -- almost glow -- in black and white photography! This is so incredibly beautiful! The flower looking right at me just seems to come off the screen. Very well done Jeanne! You are doing GREAT, by the way for not being able to get around too well yet :) Way to GO!

Ahhh, I'd love to. But with the medical bills piling in at an alarming rate, alas no luck!!

A really strong and striking image.
I think you nailed the exposure and conversion to b+w.
I don't like the flower to the left that's partially cut off, or the one in the background though.
Lose though and i think the main subjects would be allowed free rain here.
