I couldn't find a good mode of transport, so I used a toy car. I pushed it down the track and opperated the shutter remotely. The photo submited was probably 80'th shot. This is my first time in a contest, mainly due to the fact that I just got my new camera 4 days ago!
I found it very hard to get the picture sharp enough to be a good picture, but enough blur to show motion. I finally settled on a 1/500 shutter speed w/flash. Some people might not like my using a toy car but you can't please everyone.
this shot had no edditing except cropping and resizing to fit the limitations.

Background could be a bit more homogenic, and the car sharper. Nice idea, it's worth to improve techniques.

Nice idea. I would have avoided the ramp in the shot. Too bad the car is out of focus.

i think this might have been slightly more appealing as a b/w photo, primarily because of the distracting colors of the ramp.

For this type of shot IMHO you need more OR less motion blur on the car. You also need LOTS MORE light. The colors are dull and background is not white. Did you use two pieces of background material? There is a line up and down about a quarter of the shot in from right. Things like this can really harm a shot that is set up as this one is. Or in other words, the more control YOU have over the environment, the more PERFECT the shot has to be to be recieved well at this site.

Good idea. Respectfully, I'd prefer better focus.

LOL! Great idea. Could be sharper though, but I can imagine that you worked hard to get this image as good as it is. Good luck to you.

cool!!

Faster shutter. lloks blurred instead of fast. Try a bigger paper for background, the seam distracts.

Really nice! I like to see it with a real car! Some issues can be found in this photo about the underexposure, focus and distrancting background on the right side. Issues that in case of a still life, when the time to make the shot is not limited to the moment, needs to be worked.

Good capture. You might want to find a better type of background material. That looks like butcher-block paper. Your reds are good and can sometimes cause a problem. Good action capture. Good luck.

This made me laugh and brought back fond memories. Loved Hot Wheels and still check them out when I walk by them in the toy aisles. Nice motion capture, although a bot out of focus. Too bad about the crease in the paper on the left.
