If that's what was really happening in this shot, I'm really impressed! I'll have to give you the benefit of the doubt... |

man this really reminds me of something straight out of Robert Wiene's "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari!" very trippy and nice framing! 9--amitchell |

Doesn't look candid to me. Who would make this face naturally? Poor fella. |

I LOVE this photo! It stood out from the thumbnails early on, and was the first one I looked at. Ordinarily that effect would make me give it a 10 straight away, I don't know why I waited :). It's so stark and contorted, the black and white is beautiful, I love that huge tongue under the white teeth and the flaring nostrils :). Well, it's taken a few days, but here's your 10 - lisae |

He'll bite his tongue off that way!! This "feels" posed. Very bright teeth! Heavy glare on the tip of the nose, could have used some powder. Large negative space does nothing for me. Overall, on the dark side. 5 Swash |

I like the composition of this shot a lot, however I am not sure if it meets my definition of candid. Amazing picture, but not for this challenge. |

This is a very interesting photo, and I like it quite a bit. It definitely gives me the impression of a 'pose' rather than being candid... - jmsetzler |

This is bad, and it is not candid. |

This doesn't really look 'candid'. Actually, it looks quite deliberate. Sorry. |
