interestingly creative shot, I think the textures and stuff really add to a nice mood for this image.

Great shot. Love those masks. The one on the right reminds me a bit of C3PO from Star Wars.

Cool science Fiction looking photo, It would have been even better if you could seen a head inside of them.

This is some radical processing and I can see from the comments below it's a love it/hate it sort of thing. I find myself in the latter camp. At the same time, I hope the subject matter here gets recycled into some future shots because those gas maks present both interesting shapes to the eye as well as a lot of emotional/psychological aspects to the mind.

This is FABULOUS in it's utter weirdness - Love the noise - the masks are horrific for me to look at, but they DO envoke an emotion - so you've WON!

This is one of the scariest photos I have ever seen. If I have nightmares tonight, I'm PM'ing you :-) Seriously, very well done. You made a lightbox of sorts out of your oven, I see. What a creative idea. The grain really works here, BTW.

I love thr grain/noise in this one, and even though it is quite haunting, re subject matter, it is still a very strong image, and I like it.....

Now there's something you don't see every day. Putting them in the oven is a nice touch! A very apocalyptic vision with an illustrated-style, fresh and original. Almost looks like a male/female pair.

The noise works well in this photo. Very haunting, reminicient of an old comic book.

I really love this! It is so creepy. The grain is perfect for the subject. Now I will peek from the side before I just open my oven and look in! Haha! :)

I buy all kinds of weird stuff when I have the chance.
05/02/2007 06:38:59 AM
LOL at the fact that you put them in the oven......certainly appropriate (and I have to ask, why do you own gas masks, or did you buy them just for props)? I am usually not a fan of this type of processing but I think with this subject matter it works.
