Very nice little piece of history. Garage bays like this used to be at every service station when I was a kid, but are now getting very rare, and even more rare to see one open for business.
The image fits the challenge very well. The windows on the back wall are a little off center, and could have been centered by a slight move to the left with the camera, but there may have been something blocking that move. I like color better most of the time, but this looks great in B&W. There is an odd illusion that the image is wider at the top than the bottom. You may have had the camera angled just a bit up, which causes that because of the barrel distortion of most wide angle lenses. It just looks more evident in this image because of the vertical lines of the blocks in the walls.
I like the pic.

The high-contrast and the black and white works awesome here! All the textures and details you've captured are amazing, and the perfect composition is interesting. Superb shot! :) |

You know we will be expecting a lot of 6.0+ shots from you :D
This is a great symmetrical pic. I love the balance of the two doors. This has a nice gritty urban feel to it. The black and white really sets the mood. Great job! |

In my top tier in voting - this is the kind of thing I like to take, so it makes sense that I'm drawn to it. Well seen, well captured. |

Striking contrasts - those doors sure do have some wear and tear! Well-placed in the frame. |

Very simple but works well for the challenge. Good contrast really brings out the strong lines. Works for me (I gave you a 7). |

I love this one, Jackal! Great entry - I think the title is brilliant and you did a great job with showing symmetry where we least expect / think about it. |

I really like this shot; the B&W conversion is wonderful ("spot on", as they say), and the choice of subject matter is interesting, with lots to see if you really look. Nicely done. |
