Very weird plants growing in northern Arizona....They were basically dead because they were so brittle.

This made me laugh. It's like saying about a portrait "apart from the person in this picture, it is not a portrait".

Anyways, I thought the picture was creative :)

Exactly...haha. That's what I thought. To my discredit, I re-read the challenge descrip and it said "use symmetry to compose your photograph".....which I did not do at all. So this is the one time, where I will freely admit, I screwed up....oh well. There is symmetry, natural as a matter of fact, but not the whole image which I now feel was the point.

It's a beautiful image but I'm not sure about the symmetrical aspect of it.

If symmetry exist in this Y-shape tree, why you need the rest of the landscape?

Sorry - there's almost no symmetry in this shot. The single y-shape is too small to hold my attention.

wow! brilliant colors and with good detail. somehow my eye is more drawn to the mountains & sky more than the symmetrical stick figure

Is that a woody? Or maybe the horizon is tilted...Nah, it looks pretty nice. Strong composition and nice colors. This MUST have been shot with a Nikon.
