OMG! how can you dear??
i'm sorry but i have to say something about this...
i thought something similiar when i was looking at the other pic (called "out of the gate")
these pictures make me suffer!! where's the fun about maltreating horses? and where's the fun about taking pictures of it?????
just my two cents about this picture: the horse has a bloody belly from the spurs, the bits are extremly painful and the two idiots in the front are pulling at there rein like sick bulls!
i would have shot at these with a gun not with a photocam!
i do not wanna sound like a moral apostle, but this is just sick...
if you want great horse action go to reining events (where riders with bleeding horses are disqualified) and where power and action are paired with skills and not with insanity.
i'm not appealing to your photographer's abilities (wich i sincerly admire) but to your human sense.

Very nice sharpness and excellent DOF choice as far as I am concerned. The skin tones look a little red but, hey they could have had a nip or two ... |
