Too much space around the pics for me and the subject is a tad boring.

There's a lot of empty space in this triptych, and barely any variety in the three chosen photos. The shadow at the bottom of each photo could probably have been cropped out, too, bringing the viewer closer to the splashes.

The thought behind a "different" triptych is apparent and certainly worth a try. However, because you are basically trying to convey motion, putting the shots side by side would have been more effective.
