| What an awesome shot. I'm impressed by the subject, but even more impressed by the subject. I'm going to guess that you used tone mapping to get the desired effect, is that right? I've never done much with that, but really like the look. And you did an excellent job with it on this shot. Love it. |

I just love this very much..... Definately works for me.....
The sky is awesome, and I just love the HDR look, of the building.....

While you can still tell it's HDR, it is more sublte than most of the examples posted on DPC.
I think the ultimate use of PP is when you can't tell that they have been used. |

| It's a beautiful picture, but I think you went just a touch too heavy on the tone-mapping (or whatever was used here to give it this effect). IMHO, when the effect itself becomes more prominent than the image, it is not all that effective anymore. But that's just my opinion. ~6 |

Ooh, it's for sale! Looks like a bad investment.
Wonderful colors, great sky treatment (is this HDR? must be). The wide-angle effect is always a winner for me, as are scenes of desolation and decay.
If it were my photo, I'd provide a little more negative space around it, to show the building as small in the hugeness of nature. But that's my tastes... 9. |
