Tried to be simple, but interesting. I took a photo of a red chair in a sudio once, the chair was going to be used as a prop for a photoshoot, and my shot was just a test, a friend saw it and really liked it (just eh chair shot) so I decided to use a bulb in a similar shot here. To make it more interesting, I desaturated all but the red channel.

you can see your reflection in the bulb. Was that intended? I think that all of the reflections in the bulb give a lot of unwanted destractions.

this picture has a very strange impact to me..
well.. it's a red blub.. hmm.. yes it is.. strange
it's like a little shock to see a red blub..

Nice idea! I wonder how the standard clear lightbulb would have worked? I guess this is more with the season tho

Technical: Most all images submitted fit the challenge. This does well! Exposure composition focus lighting all good, though I'd like to see the subject better protected from reflections and glare.

Personal: Excellent fit to the challenge. Simply a great idea!

I like of your idea so much! It is really simple. I think only the replection is out of simple order.
