This seems to have nothing to do with the challenge. In this challenge, I'd suggest to take a picture of a single leaf, because they are symmetric and look great. Also, I do not like the DOF, probably liked it if that was really shallow. Also, have a look at the Rule of Thirds tutorial. -1-

Nature is amazing :)
I find the shot a little busy though, and the dark foreground leaf distracting. It may have been more effective if you could have concentrated more on one set of leaves.

the leaves themselves are symmetrical, but the overall photo is not. Try taking a close-up shot of a leaf or even 2 leaves in an opposite symmetrical position.

This idea would have been better if you had of taken a close up of on of the beautiful coloured leaves on the top right of photo. Then you could have shown the real symmetry.
