This'll probably be one of 8billion pictures of kids blowing bubbles this week, but I like it. It's not often I have the fates align properly to get a shot like this. I had a kid, some bubble stuff, and enough spare time to do it!

I spent a good 30mins flipping between a colour and a b&w version of this picture. I really couldn't decide. Finally came down to a "close my eyes and spin the scroll wheel really fast and whichever one is on the screen when I open them I'll submit" episode.

A fine composition and wonderfully natural moment. Beautiful use of the full dynamic range, right to the limit. A most excellent result. Excellent control of the background too.
