Effective setting for this portrait. I don't know, but I think a bit longer depth of field to get the paint in focus would not have detracted. Still, good work. 7.5, OK 8. |

A bit flat contrast wise for my taste but I do like the composition and color scheme this photo is in. |

I would have put his eye n the 1/3rd line, not on the 1/4 line as you have. His expression and posture is excellent. and perfectly focussed and lit. |

normally in a picture like this, id say to adjust the levels and bring the darks down, but somehow, it works with out it here |
