Meowch you got some happy comments lol. Contre-jour, yeah probably. I like the starburst - I don't know how to do that. I think something that would have been interesting to try is to have used the flash at the same time to highlight what looks to me like flowers in the foreground on the left. I don't know if that would work or not lol.

The main branch in the middle cuts the composition in half (not thirds).

Sorry but shots against the sune with intense flare have long since stopped to impress me, this did however when I started out taking pictures but you need to do something more these days to impress me, when I look at this photograph I immediately think "snapshot".

Doesn't hold my interest at all. There is not point of interest, except for the sun.
