I am a fan of the negative DOF for the most part....I think here if you are trying to convey that we do not appreciate our freedoms and the BG is not something that some might not consider appreciable, that you might have gone the other way. |

Not very sure what U want to portray here. i hope i gotten it correct.... is it a behind bars thingy? or the train track? hmmm not very sure. In my opinion, the image seemed to need a focus.. not the photographic forcusing... but rather a focus on the subject matter. |

Not sure what you are trying to express here, and the title sure does not help. I see a fence, barbed wire, leaves, grass, a railroad track, a concrete structure, but have no idea what the subject is of your picture and how it relates to simplicity. |

The fence is blurry, especially on the right. If you want everything sharp, you should use apertures like f/16 or f/22 - I have just learnt it -, it helps you get everything in focus. |

Nice observation! Had one similar the other day.
I like the emphasized contrast to the barbed wire! |

Good picture, but seems to me like too many elements to capture simplicity. Try one with only the natural elements, no wire, rails etc. Very nice framing with the chain link fence though. |

I'm not sure I understand the shot; it doesn't have a clear focal point. |

What take we for granted? It's to much in this picture to see what you mean. Fence? Tree? -2 |

Too much going on, not sure what the focus should be. |
