I like your collection of silhouettes and red squares. For a rule of thirds challenge it probably wasn't what voters were looking for. |

Nice slice of life shot, good silhouettes. Curious about those numbers in the windows - I wonder what they are for (general question, not "why do you have them in the shot")? |

You have so many interesting things to photograph! I like the silhouettes. This turned out very well considering it looks like it must have been pretty bright outside. |

Deb, I like the image: the colors, patterns, contrast. My eye doesn't find anything to rest on, though. It seems to lack a focal point. |

I am not sure what people were looking at saying this didn't follow rule of thirds. Maybe people are interpreting the rule to apply only in the vertical direction?!
I gave this a 7 for clearly meeting challenge (in both horiz and vertical, by the way) but that I didn't find it a 'wow' photo that could have bumped it up to 8... |

Looks like a quiet time for a train station. I would love to visit Europe sometime and travel on the trains |

Rule of thirds, but not rule of thirds. Don't think too much outside the box. :) Really though, it fits the challenge nicely. People harp too much on the horizontal. Generally if a photo "feels" right, then it is following the Rule of Thirds. The composition works well. I think I might have preferred the people to be pure silhouettes in this case, but an excellent entry. |

You know, this shot is sooooooo Rule of thirds that you could put a grid over it and it would probably line up perfectly. Welcome to the land of suck. |

Man, those commenter's were harsh with the scores!! I clearly see the thirds, but then I'm not a ruler type of person. Lovely composition, interesting subject, very well done. What more do they want??? Don't give in Deb. You have a wonderful style. |

Bah on the score - it might not have met the challenge well enough for people, but it's a cool shot on its own. :) |

thought this might be yours somehow, may be i recognized the station or i start to recognize your style :) very nice composition with these silhouettes and colours around them.
i gave this an 8 but i think i didn't finish my 20% in this challenge :(
seeing the avg score you got i feel quite bad that i didn't pass the 20 % :(

Great image. Not sure the division into thirds is convincing, but the idea is there. |
