 Talk about multi-tasking....
First moisten the sheet of glass, then blow the bubbles onto it, grab the camera, focus manually as quick as you can (the first bubbles are already bursting! Aaarggh!). Then repeat this about 200 times....


There is now a print available in which I've darkened the noisy background, taken off the border and straightened the horizon.
However, if anyone would prefer the print with the border, it's no problem to upload that version as a print, so just let me know. Thanks.

Cool ... its like a pair of planets. The colours are great, you have caught the detail so well. The composition and crop are superb. The background seems to have a lot of colour noise but that is just being excessively picky and running out of anything helpful to say :-)

Very suggestive. Great delineation of curves, super patterning, good framing. This has so much appeal; regret only the lighter band in the lower background.

Very, very nice. Cropping the bottom to eliminate the hazy line going thru the bottom 1/5th of the photograph would make it even sharper and slightly less distracting to look at.

That prismatic film of the bubbles is pretty wild...great job of taking advantage of that property of bubbles. Fascinating photo!

This is my favourite! The colours in the bubbles are great, you chose an excellent title as well. The only thing I don't like is the purple in the border. A plain black border would have been good enough. Giving it a 10!

Wow, there is some serious colour saturation boosting going on here - neat effect! I would prefer the bubbles to take up more of the frame; for me the negative space doesn't add anything positive to the photo.

Woah, lots of people have gone for the soap bubbles in this challenge, but for me this is the pick of the crop. Love the lighting effect of having the area where the two bubbles cross more illuminated and the fact that you have avoided the harsh reflections and hot spots that many others have got. The line in the background is a touch distracting but in no way significantly detracts from a great image - 9

Now, how on earth did you get those colours? Lovely. I think you've done the shot a disfavour by adding that border.
