I gave you an 8 for this image during the challenge, think this is excellent
I tried taking a similar picture when I was in San Miguel de Allende; first the woman spit at me, then turned her back to the cam (& so that was my capture-hr back..aye!). I was pretty clueless about why until I found out some for the indigenous folk ther think the camera takes their soul as you take their picture.. |

Valdo! Wow! This is really awesome! I don't get why this one wasn't in the high 6's -- but it sure deserves to be!

this looks like a picture I've seen before, but the composition is strong and there is something surprising about her gesture. She seems so static at first, but then I realize that she is asking something from me. 7 |

Somehow the title throws me a bit off, seems a little disrespectful but this shot is pretty good. I like it in color but have a strong feeling I would like it even better in b/w with perhaps even stronger contrast, did you try that? |

strong story with a gentle treatment of the person against the bold lines of the building/stairs - one of my favorites this challenge |

Fantastic! Perfect 10. I love the brown door creating balance with the brown face. Great texture because of great lighting. I can't quite figure out the setting though..I guess the door is closed because of the hinge, is that double doors and a "dog trot" or something? Anyway, doesn't matter great capture! |
