 Macro photo of the developing frond. Probably 2:1 magnification. I noticed how the shape in the coiled fern looked like eyes and were looking at me, so I cropped on the Thirds to accentuate them, but did absolutely no retouching, spotting, cloning etc. WYSIWYG. I only used Levels,saturation,contrast, USM,crop, frame,resize.

I wish that blurry top part wasn´t included, it just draws too much attention IMHO, rest of the shot is very good, good DOF and clarity.

The fibers around the edges seem to draw to much of my attention from the main subject.
