Setup for this water drop movie.

It is a Mumford Time Machine. It is programmable controller and intervalometer. It allows you to trip the shutter of your camera and/or fire an electronic flash at regular intervals (time lapse), at specific times of day, or in response to trigger events.

In my set up pictured, the water drops thru an optical sensor connected to the Time Machine. The Time machine then fires the flash and camera in sequence (both connected to the time machine). The way a movie is made is that each time a water drop is detected by the machine a delay is added (.01 seconds for this movie) before each subsequent exposure.

Nope, that's actually our rabbit, Spurlock. The hamsters have been banished to our kid's bedrooms due to squeaky wheels.
