This is a puzzle teapot called a Cadogan...taken from the end with the handle. These have no openings on the top, so must be filled upside down.

Technical: Most all images submitted fit the challenge. This one does well. Exposure composition focus lighting all good, but those reflections are distracting. I hope I'm not the 100th person to say that.

Personal: Very interesting to look at.

There is nothing simple about this picture, the reflections, the colors. I would rated it higher in another challange. 6.

Is that a reflection of you taking the picture in the left side of the pot?? Nice idea, would have worked for the shapes challege also

Too many reflections, a light tent would have helped this out. Still a 7, but could have easily been an 8.

kind of strange, but unique. I personally don't care much for the reflections that can be seen, distracts from the overal image, I don't think I would have been able to tell that it was a teapot without the title though. 5

Overall interest : 2/3
Technical : 2/3 (perhaps avoiding the reflections and larger DOF could improve? )
Challenge fit : 2/2
Wow factor : 1/2 (aestetic )

I like the soft focus edges. The color of the teapot is alluring. I find the relections distracting, though.

The reflections take too much away from the simplicity of it, you can see everything going on in the background.
