Sorry for this comment during voting. I downloaded a script to vote with the keypad and it was not working correctly. I came back to comment on all the shots a screwed up on.

The frame is what bothers me with this shot. In a print I think the frame would work well but since we are limited on the size of the picture here at DPC the frame takes away from this shot. It is a wonderful shot. The B&W conversion is great.

what century did you kidnap these children from? adorable! and a great capture. I wish you hadn't sacrificed so much size for the frame. Not that it's a bad frame, but you can't spare that much real estate at this size. 8

The border did me in :(

Nice photo. The black and white works well. I'm just not a fan of the huge white border.

I really don't care for the huge white border. The photograph is nice on it's own without the white. Your border is a warm white and the photograph appears to have a much cooler tone. The two are fighting IMO. :) The little girl on the left appears to be more centered than at a third point. The other two are pretty close. It feels like you could have cropped some of the left off (part of the tree thingy) to move the subjects over to the left a bit. The contrast and lighting are nice. Subject matter is interesting.

Interetsing use of several ROT lines.

maybe could do without the 3 foot border, otherwise, I like the composition and B&W

Don't care that much for the wide frame, you have a nice picture and should have used it to make the impact not the frame.

Lovely image...the frame takes away a lot though.

Exposure is good. B & W works good for this shot and so does your unusual border. It's a pity the girl with the bike has a lot of shadow on her face.

Why the massive border?

A bit too much border. To my opinion the rule of thirds doesnot apply to this picture.

Too much border... lovely shot. With a picture this great it's a shame to waste 1/2 the pixels on border!
