I know someone who will be really interested in this picture, she has been asking me to take one of the fiddlehead shots for her website but they haven't started showing up in our region yet!
Besides that .. its a beautiful shot, love the bokeh! |

| Nice but the thumbnail looked better mainly cause I expected the plant to be in focus all the way. I do like the backround and composition, frame and all that and voted this a 6, had the entire plant been tack sharp, I would have added at least 1, maybe 2 points. |

I like this apparent simplicity in the shot.
A good title, that forces the average voter (ie me) to look at this photo for a bit more time. |

| I would give this less, for being so lopsided and half-empty (no doubt in order to comply to a perception of 'rule of thirds'), but the macro is too beautiful and the title too well done to go below 6 |
