Challenge: Rule of Thirds III (Basic Editing)
Camera: Canon EOS-350D Rebel XT
Lens: Tamron AF 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 Aspherical for Canon
Location: Wichita, KS
Date: Apr 19, 2007
Aperture: F/5.6
ISO: 400
Shutter: 1/5th second
Galleries: Snapshot, Children
Date Uploaded: Apr 19, 2007

My littlest, napping, and as usual, has his feet up on the side bars of his crib. Made taking the picture a little easier, and double checking my lines as well. Very minimal editing, just a little contrast and shading adjustment. This is my first try at the "rule of thirds" so I hope I did ok.

Dynamic composition. Marvelously geometric limbs for such a chaotic creature. The only thing that maybe could be better is the color? 7

I wonder, how come they always find a way to squash their feet in between the bars, both my kids always do that too :)

I love this shot. I wish it was in focus somewhere.

Good placement of the feet. The crib slats overpower the picture because of their bright color but a nice image. You might also try going to a portrait crop to remove some from each edge.

Looks like the babe is trying to break free! Very sweet!

I like the idea, especially as everything fits the rule of thirds quite novelly. A bit too out of focus though.

Great capture. Well framed. Warm, endearing.
