 This was my first expert challenge, but is a pretty basic editing job. The only thing "expert" I did was add a little texture to the pure black background. The rest of the editing was all "advanced" legal, such as selective USM, levels, dodge and burn. The soft hair was caused by Sarah spinning in the chair, not shallow DOF. This was shot at f8 1/40.

nice clear face too bad the hair is out of focus. Try to use higher apeture longer shutter, this would be great. 6

Pretty girl with lovely long hair and a beautiful smile. IMO the softening treatment of the hair doesn't add anything. I hope you show the pre PP version after the voting. Lovely composition.

Beautiful hair! Very long... the only thing I don't really like is that on the girl's right (our left) there is that gold/orange streak. It's so abrupt it looks a little unnatural. If you could maybe smooth that out, or remove it all together it might look a little better. This is a very nice portrait though - good shot!
