Looking at this again I am bumping it up mainly because of the gate, if the sky had been a little more dramatic I think it would have been a 10 but still in my opinion rates an 8.

When I first saw this pic I thought to myself, this pic must do very well in this challenge!

stellar b/w - lovely theme here with the fence, the gate and the walkway - the shimmer of the leaves/ flowers in the trees makes this one really shine.

nicely converted. a total tiny nitpick...I would have cloned out that one branch sticking out further than the rest at the top. 7

your strong elements are the gate and the path. if you could learn to toen down the rest of the image, so the eyes immediately fixed on the two elements, it would be a much much stronger image

I really really like this one. That wooden gate is perfect. The tree is great too, and editing is very tastefully done.
