 This might not meet the tradition description of a landscape, but hopefully the voters will be open-minded.

HDR from a 9 shot bracketing sequence. The camera settings are for the centre exposure.

Other than the HDR conversion, the editing was fairly light for an expert editing challenge.

Post Processing:
HDR from 9 RAW files.
Crop.
Hue/Saturation, Levels, Curves.
Sky overlay gradient.
Resize, smart sharpen, border and save for web.

Post challenge:
I suppose radical HDR images are a love/hate thing. This over-processed look is not my normal style, but I decided it would be fun to try a heavy handed HDR image, seeing the challenge is expert editing and all. The artificial look was very much on purpse. This image did a lot better than I expected and I am happy that I entered it.

Great use of tone mapping, my only take is that the orange is tooo oevr saturated, so it took away from the image, if it was not for that i think this would have scored even higher!

Sorry but the "HDR look" or whatever was done to this image really doesn´t appeal to me in the least. I did try to put my hand over the top 1/3 of the image and liked it much better that way so I still voted a 5 as I didn´t want to hurt your score too badly.

very nice use of expert editing I tryed to enter a hdr shot and it didn't work for me. only one complaint is that maybe there is a litte bit too much
colour. nice otherwise 6

Cool. Surreal colors. This is edging into processing territory that I tend not to like, but I think it works for this shot. The effect on the trees in the foreground reminds of shooting with tungsten-based slide film. Hope you aren't getting grief from people saying it isn't a landscape, because it most certainly is. - 8

I've seen some similar processing but I cant place the photog. Did you enter another similarly processed city shot from japan? Middle East? Pretty unreal effect but it works well for the subject.
