The mane is really nice. I think I would like this shot better if the bottom was cropped off to just above the ear.

I know you are focusing on the mane, but chopping the horses head off at that point is disturbing. There is no closure.

The mane is definitely interesting, but I am not sure that cutting the head was a good decision
