Well someone's certainly happy about getting married! Good for them! I think you've captured their exuberance quite well and the centered composition works just fine here. Ahh...young love. |

They both look very happy! I don't think breaking the rule of thirds was a bad thing here at all. It sort of makes me want to see her other foot (just a little), but besides that I think this is a great shot! |

She sure is a happy little thing! Ya know, I have to agree with Sandy here, in that the RO3rds can get annoying sometimes... COULD you have gotten a better image? Maybe - but I bet they will still look back on this with the eyes of a young couple in love, and not the hyper critical eyes of a photographer.
Know that you've helped them capture the youth of their marriage, and enjoy it for what it is! |

This photo DEFINITELY would not be as appealing if it weren't a centered composition. That whole rule of thirds thing is almost a sore spot with me because here on dpc I see people being so incredibly psycho about it when it is clearly a general GUIDE to composition -- not something that is a rigid "HAVE TO" with no exceptions. Anyway. . .sorry. ..you got me started :)
I think this is an AWESOME engagement announcement photo. It's creative and fun, and perfect!
Man. . .was Heather a cheerleadeer in her day or WHAT! This is definitely a "cheerleader all grown up" if I ever saw one :)
Edit: ooops. can't type this morning.
