 Combined 5 shots taken at 1/60 1/30 1/15 1/8 1/4.
Photomatix to create HDR and then tone mapped.
Hue/saturation, curves and Selective Color in PS.
Unsharp mask and resized and crop. Dogde and burn and a little clone stamp to correct some minor errors.

The Hraunfossar (Lava Falls) are clear, cold springs that well up through the lava and run in falls and rapids into the Hvítá River in Borgarjordur in Iceland.

hehe, i've been living in reykholt for the past 9 month, and often been driving to this place, in all weathers, and during the night, too.
beautiful photograph, and one of the most natural looking hdr's i've seen so far on dpc.

I think some work on the hillside would have done this photo good. They feel like too an even worlds put together.

Now this looks familiar :) Very well done, technically this image is good, just doesn´t have that "wow" factor since I have been there so many times but good enough for a 7 from me and I am picky.

I keep coming back to this image - it's really magnificent. Beautiful composition and tones. I'm curious though - is this a composite of shots? If so, you stitched them flawlessly. If not, then wow what a location!

Either way, this gets high marks from me - well done!

Some unusual looking falls, the water looks as tough it is coming right out of the ground before cascading to the river below. Very beautiful!

Nice colors, but the composition seems akward to me...like I have to tilt my head. Could you have transformed this using perspective (or rotated) so that the water is running more up/down? 6
