Lovely image. I do wish your subject was a bit less centered. Perhaps a bit futher to the left. The black and white help outline the shape this photo suggests. Contrast again perfect for the statement. Good Job. |

Very original take on the challenge, your photo is almost perfect, just a bit hot on back of head-- 8 |

Egill? I enjoyed seeing this as contract to the moon subjects in this challenge. The way the light picks out his head and the mike is very dramatic, but also a bit funny. A nice portait. You've gotten great detail and focus in the light spots, I like the predominance of the blackness - gives a feeling of perfomance. 9 |

Excellent, lighting come from behind the objects, that amplifies the idea of shape in my mind. Unlike most of the photo submitted for this challenge who are so clearly lit that the idea of "shape" is lost. (8) |

I love the high contrast, and I have to admit that while I don't usually let titles influence me, you may be getting an extra point for yours. I literally laughed out loud. 9 |

Great lighting to just show only those areas that you want us to see. And given the shape of what we do see here, isn't it incredible how the human mind "fills in" what's missing so that the mind "sees" an entire face/ head? Gestalt theory or something like that - been too long since I was a student to remember! I like this very much! |
