 He's been dead and sitting in my desk drawer for a year and a half.

Hubba hubba hubba hubba....

Thanks to my husband for helping to brainstorm this up and for being as terribly macabre as myself. TeeneyTiny hat and scarf made by myself.


Sorry about the sensor dust - I tried at least six times and still couldnt canned air it clean.

You know, he was very much dead when I found him. He had been attacked by a bird and had his back end bitten off. I had nothing to do with his demise at all, I just found him this way.

I enjoy working with miniatures, so this wasn't nearly as hard as it looked. I was going to make him earmuffs, but his eyes already looked similar and it lost some ofthe effect. the positioning of the legs is just rigormortis, I didnt plan them that way.

oh my... I feel bad for the dogs people do this to, but at least they can fight back. this guy didn't stand a chance.
I hope you at least found him dead. on a technical side though- really great shot... his face is so clear. also a bump in exposure may have helped compensate for the flat contrast. and you may want to clean your lens/sensor, there's a lot of little things there. :)

Oh MY...the creativity in this one is great! It also made me smile:-) Love the attention to detail and the details in this one. Lighting and focus are fabulous. I can see the details of the hairs on the dragonfly's legs! Love the hat and scarf you adorned on your model...I wonder how happy the dragonfly was with the get-up:-)Oh and the legs ('arms') of the dragonfly 'appear' to be wrapping around the scarf & it's body as if it is shivering and seeking to warm itself up - it's that attention to detail that helps make this shot an above average one.
