 Hadn't planned to enter this challenge, as it's been raining cats & dogs (so not many bugs around), but this luna moth appeared at my doorstep this morning. Thought he'd be more interesting hanging from a flower... Lit with overhead, directional halogen, and flashlight.

I'm surprised this didn't finish a bit higher.
This is one of my favorites in the challenge.
I love how the green on his wings matches the green on the stem.
Great clarity as well.

Very pretty, I love that the butterfly/moth mimics the colour of the flower. Excellent choice of background colour (this looks like a set-up shot to me rather than one found in nature, not that there's anything wrong with that).

Ohhhh a Luna Moth. I'm impressed you found one, I haven't been able to catch one of these since I was a kid. Can't wait to see it with the saturation bumped up afterwards. Good job.
