Greetings from the Critique Club:
This is a lovely, striking portrait. The choice of black and white really works here. It appears slightly over-processed in the lower left hand corner of the frame and I think those strands of hair over the left eye could have been moved out of the way before the shot or taken out in post. Great work! |

| Beautiful photo, nicely lit. Definitely fits the theme. The b&w works here. Good lighting and clarity where it counts. I love the "added bonus" of the touches of facial hair. Not sure if I like the PP on the eye, though it *is* striking. Anyhow a 10 from me. |

| I really like what you did to the eyes. This is what sets this shot apart from the other shots of people with hair partially covering their faces. I'd be curious to know how you did that... |

| The stray hairs above his eye are distracting IMHO, but overall its a GREAT portrait. Nice pp with the eye. |
