Great detail and nice DOF, just wish the colours were a little brighter...or possibly the lighting a litle better?

This is about the only ladybug shot I really, really liked in this challenge. The colors are bright, the shell shiney, caught against a wonderfully contrasting color scheme. Nice. 9.

There are some wonderful details in this close-up of this ladybug. I love how you can see all the details on this insect from it's tiny legs hanging onto the flower to the black spots on it's shell. My congrats on freezing the action with so much lovely detail on the ladybug - It is surprising how fast these little creatures can move when one is still trying to focus:-) The lighting is wonderful for the subject and it's environment are illuminated perfectly.
