I missed this originally. I like it, but I REALLY like the outtake crop because it makes the interesting stuff bigger. You discovered the solution to a blah sky - crop out most of it. :) The only post-processing skill I'd recommend is cloning. One tiny click and that sensor dust in the sky would disappear. Maybe they're birds, but they look like dust specks.

I think the crop version improves on the original - the couple are still on the periphery of the composition which is a nice touch, but now they're much more easily seen - also the crop seems to bring out more interesting detail in that thing (what is it?) out in the water on the right. Overall the nice rosy glow is attractive, and you've got great light shining off the water. |

I love the subtle little gem on the bottom of the picture, clued in by the title. It's this kind of subtlety that makes you prime Team Suck material. Great! |

Nice shot, the people make it very interesting, but I think less sky more beach would help this, JMO. |

Whaaaaat? You got robbed on this! I love the tiny figures at the bottom. Excellent entry in my opinion. |

Jayson, This is a nice shot but I think the outtake was much better. Just my opinion. |

The people are almost cut off at the ankles, and it does not look like skipping to me |

the composition is rather weak here, with the horizon in the center and the action at the very bottom of the frame. you needed to include more of the land, bumping the horizon up along with the couple. |

Lovely color on the water and nice to include people to give it scale. Nice elements in the composition as well. (You do have a couple of sensor dust spots that can be cloned - not something I vote against, but others may.) |

Good capture of the people, but the sky is too boring and noisy to keep it zoomed out this far. Nice colour in the water, but the similarly-coloured sky draws attention away from it. Great clarity in the water where the waves are cresting. |
