 I took so many pictures it was hard for me to pick. You always have second thoughts in these situations, I hope this was the right choice. I think that this really picks up the atmosphere of the race. This picture is actually just practice, if you can't tell by the empty seats in the background, but they pretty much practice at full speed. These guys are going for it. If you don't know anything about this race I would suggest a quick wiki-search for "little 500".
Anyway, just a couple of adjustments...Slight curves and levels, small saturation increase to bring out the colorful jerseys a touch and lightened to allow for a little less glare in the whites.

focal length was 78mm if anyone cares

I like the creativity to this image. There could be a little less distracting elements in the background, so that the subjects are more clearly focused on, but overall nice job.

might be better if you left the background blurred and the bikes clear, but i like the originality

Scoreboard is too distracting. Maybe a crop would have helped.

Nice strong colours, interesting choice of going for motion blur and static background.
As the background has quite a lot of lines and distractions (goal on the right, red frame on the left, building showing through the trees etc), I think I would have been more tempted to pan with the cyclists, keep their colour and vibrancy, and blur the background. This is obviously personal taste though :- )

The 'Indiana Uni' sign takes your attention away from the subjects. Would have been better shot from somewhere else and without the sign.

personally, I don't care for the extreme motion blur ... wish you'd stopped the action a bit more to bring out the details in the bikes

This would be an incredoubly powerful shot if the cyclist were in focus. If they were i'd have given it a 9, but as it is i'll give it a 6, because of the great colours! : ) .

If you wanted to include the background, I would have chosen a higher shutter speed to freeze the bikers. Otherwise, pan the shot to freeze the bikers.
