If you are a psycho, then I am. That's pretty much the first impression I got. "Why is someone peeping on these people, they're gonna DIIIEEE!!"

Another proof that we need a voting system that requires comments when someone votes low. Such a great picture. Look at the discrepancy in scores between those who commented, and those who didnt:
Avg (commenters): 7.6190
Avg (participants): 5.4353
Almost 2.2 points!

Positives:
This is a touching image capturing a 'life' moment. That is what makes this image good. It is hard to capture this in photographic imaging but done very well in this one.
Technicals:
Lighting, exposure and composition are very good. Composition supports the image exceptionally well.
The Challenge:
Obvious appears to be taken at night so therefore meets the challenge. Not only that, but because of the composition does it better than other images in the challenge.
Suggestions:
There is little technically to suggest to improve this image.

I just wanted to thank everyone for such wonderful comments. This was a self portrait with me and my wife that I setup. I wanted to make it look as non voyeuristic as possible but still get the point across. |

This is by far my favorite of the challenge. It has a genuine warmth to it. Nice depicts the end of the day when spring has warmed the air enough to leave the windows open for awhile... Really a wonderful photograph. |

Nice and refreshing take on the challenge. Great lighting, exposure, and very emotive. Reminds me of the last verse of "Summer Breeze." I really hope this ribbons for its excellent photographic qualities and your innovative spirit. 10 |

Hm, interesting approach to the challenge. Works for me, I see lights on, and its dark around the window, so definitely at night :-) It's actually a cool image. It grows on me the longer I look. Kind of 'voyeuristic', but in an innocent, kind of sweet way, if you know what I mean. I'm not sure how the general voters will receive it, but, upon consideration, I quite like it. To me, it's an image that is easy to 'connect' with. I say good job, and a good score from me :-) |

Awww. . .this is really a sweet photo. I love the sentiment, and the models look so genuine! I really love the grungy kid of look by the old, less than perfect windows. It gives it an urban look. I really like this alot. |

This would have been and incredible picture if you could have made sure that the window you were shooting through (the clear one) was crystal clear so there weren't any distracting lines or color abarrations over their faces. The composition, lighting and exposure is really nice. |

I like this one because they're normal people, not snazy, posing model types. |

I like this one a lot. A clean window without a screen would have been ideal, but this is a great idea, and a good composition. |
