I think it was so smart of you to leave some color in the wood -- it keeps the photo from being merely gimmicky. Nice composition and clarity. A high vote from me.

I like what you did here - the detail and textures are well-captured, and the background blur makes the foreground "pop" that much more. Very effective.

ok, nice use of selective desaturation. the textures in this shots really work for me. it doesnt put out any great message or provoke any feelings in the viewer, but did make me think "nice shot".. 7
