 I was just playing around with my son, Nicholas, he is 9 years old, and hopes one day to be a photographer. We were using a 550ex flash with an off shoe cord, moving the flash around, checking the exposures, and really having a blast trying to teach my son what I love to do.
This is my first entry since becoming a member and discovering this amazing web site, that has helped me grow as a photographer.Thank you all.

Nice composition, could fit in a square format as well. The white parts look somewhat blown-out.

nice contrast in this. i like the black and white. if anything, the whtie is a little harsh, but not a big deal. very nice job.

I like the detail in the sprokets but the whites are a little blown out.

The lighting is a bit harsh in this image. But i like the angle and the close up shot.
