It's my favorite for this challenge. The light is very effective and the expression very strong. Good luck! |

I think this is the best hand out in the challenge. Nice capture.. |

Nioce exposure and texture. Slight hot spot on finger tips. Doesn't tie in with the topic though. |

Nice light, expensive camera, but what makes the shot is the cuts and callouses on this guys on fingers. Nice detail. THe only thing that keeps this shot from being a ten is the overall "brown feeling" of the lighting, and the jaggie lines of contrast on the thumb and fingers |

One of my few favorits! Like the composition, the light and that the backround is not completely dark. Using color instead of B&W works well to, although the fingers are a little too saturated IMO. Good luck |

This has the emotion that is often missing from so many photographs. I like it.
My only suggestion would be to open the crop a little on the right side. It's just my personel taste. 10 |

Technical: Fits the challenge. Exposure composition focus lighting all excellent. However, the background seems a bit uneven near thumb.
Personal: Well executed and more creatively done than others here on the same theme. Nicely done.
My vote: 8 |

good response to challenge, interesting textures, good clarity and focus -slight hotspot on closest finger - an image which would last beyond just the challenge |

the contrast between moneyless hand and studio (loking) lighting does not work |

I thought this was a pretty hard theme. What could be done other than the obvious pics of money, credit cards, or wealth items and still be able to clearly convey the challenge theme? I think this is a great take on the theme and very clearly says \'money\' (or the need for it). I\'m also glad you didn\'t overdo it by trying to add a dollar or another hand giving it which would only have distracted from it. Good job. |

super shot with super lighting. Quite emotive.
To be picky, I would have liked to have seen less red in the fingers, and perhaps some dirt or cuts (but I guess cuts would be silly)
Good luck, a top 3 for sure. |

Almost a 10, I give it a 9. I like this. It's very much on topic, moving and shows feeling in a simple straight forward way. Nicely done. I only find the light a bit too bright and fried on the exposed fingers. It's minor. Nice job, good luck. |
