| Great detail on the stamen, with a beautiful contrast of colors. I get a feeling of urgency from the stamen with the petals helping to cool the mood. |

| The colors are nice, and the focus is right where it should be, but it still seems a little bland. Maybe it's the lighting? Maybe the pistil is too centered? |

| very nice detail and color choices. might be even better if the main subject wasn't quite as centered, just something to explore |

Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning.
