Foreground (grass) blue channel was blended in "difference" mode with original RGB layer. Curves applied to lighten, then used the green channel from that for the final b/w. The background was selective gaussian blur on the original and then converted to b/w via channel mixer.

Wow, I love the editing to this one! I wish more would accept this type of thing, but alas, it seems the voters in this site seem to love the pure "photo style" and don't allow much room for the creative editing. Personally, I REALLY like this! 8!!!

This is an interesting work of art but it is too processed for me to call it a photograph. The grass is over sharpened and there has been too much neat image used in the sky. Of course this is just my opinion and there are tons of people on this site who love images like this so your score is probably doing well.

Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning. It's day two now and I'm running late, sorry.
