 This image is build by 2 separate photos as you can see.
(left and right part)
The dust and the edges are shot within the original image.
Finally i blend a texture layer over these two shots to get that grungy aged look, and this is the result . . . . . .

In some other forums i enjoy, it got a comment that this shot gives a feeling of an old magic hocus pocus book, secrets written with invincible ink . . . . . . . :-):-))

Hopefully its not TOO experimental for DPC. . . . . .
Probably it is . . . . .

Works for me. I like to play with 'dirty' layers. I have some great brushes and layers if you would like copies.
