From this perspective, it seems to me the piece of the swing almost forms a frame for the background, which is basically empty. Hmmm. |

very nice shot! The composition here is veyr nice. I like the way the chain is lit from the back... this is creating a 'silhoutette' with some nice contrast and highlights in the image. Good job :) - jmsetzler |

Excellent and interesting angle. Great backdrop. Pin sharp focus where it needs to be. Really like this one. 9 - floyd |

This is one that the thumnail really doesn't do justice to. I like the way the chain of the swing is along the line of 3rds. I like the light reflecting off the chain. I wish for a more interesting background. The logs and the picnic table don't add to the photo for me. They don't detract terribly, but a enough to make it noteworthy. One of my four favorite swing photos, each of which I tried to judge on it's own merit. 6, just-married |

Very sharp and clear. Nice close up of the swing. I love the greens in the background. This looks like it follows the "rule of thirds". Definately portrays childhood. The lighting was perfect for this photo. Did a great job of keeping glare and reflection off the swing and the metals. Great job and good luck in the challenge. |

Nice close crop and unusual composition. Like the strong vertical of the chain, down the right hand "third" and the angle of the seat. 5, Kavey |

I like the swing idea. The colors look very nice and highly saturated. Good contrast ot the gravel and the metal of the swing. |

Nice colors and i like how the seat of the swing is "hinted" at. The saturated greens are nice. karmat |

This is an adult swing. Children's playground usually has rubber flooring, not small pebbles. |

This is great! I love the close in detail of the swing, the background, the balance, the color. The only thing is... don't use the name of the challenge in the title, no way, no part, no how! |

I think the framing is missed .. sorry. Rule of 1/3 is not always right but it would have been in a case like that. Too bad because I like the chain and the part of the swing wa can see. |
