Yes, this is in motion--it is not still. But it evokes a strong feeling of stillness. It is a very quiet scene in spite of the gentle breeze flowing through the trees. This is a powerful image because you have captured psychological stillness in an image of motion.
A more dynamic setting would not have worked as well. Be glad you are in a podunk town.

While the composition, subject and colour are excellently put together, it is very annoying to see the motion blurs of leafs and branches, which can cause some to deduct voting points ... 7 |
