 Photographer’s Notes
Waiting for a bus in Florence’s Piazza San Marco I spotted this colorful gypsy and managed to capture his image before he cottoned on to the fact that I was photographing him.
I’m not good at photographing street people or doing candids in general. I’ve been working on it and maybe I’m making progress.

Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning. It's day two three now and I'm running late, sorry.

Honestly, I think a BW version of this would serve you better. The vivid stripes of his sweater are distracting me from his face, which I'm sure was meant to be the focal point. Nice composition and focus.

Wow! I have no chance in this challenge. I've only looked at three photos now, and they are all far better than anything I've come up with. I could see this on the front page for sure. Nice work!
