great close work, colours are vibrant and focus is spot on. DOF is also used well. I would have expected this to be up at the 6.000 region so i am surprised at the score.

Good idea. Works for me as bling and as pop culture. Ha, you even could have invoked pirates of the caribbean/johnny depp... Good job keeping focus/mellowing the processing... it's not gummy or harsh like shiny jewelry with scads of highlights sometimes looks.

I thought this was a good example of POP culture. It is busy, but that just makes it look more "blingish". :)

I think this idea would have worked better with more popular jewelrey. Skull and crossbones associated with bling bling is a bit of a reach. Put this sucker on a chain and then put it on a model and you would have a more appropriate concept. Keep it up though!
