simple ... beautiful ... emotive ... fantastic in b&w ...
the grain gives this a sort'v 'old master's feel' .. amazing photograph ...

| im the opposite to Haneck, i love grain, and often add a little myself. this photo is very moody and well composed, and would love it even if the person were not there, but the person comes as a plus. its a great emptiness in this picture which im attracted to. |

| Usually, I can't STAND grain... but here it works beautifully! I LOVE this! I love all the moodiness - and I think that's at least partly thanks to the way the foreground gets almost black. It's a very capturing image - darkly contemplative. I almost feel like I know that mood that person way off in the distance is in. |
